A programme of completely free tree-inspired art and culture events
National Tree Week has celebrated the start of every tree planting season since 1975, planting millions of trees around the UK. However, this year, coronavirus measures will mean many events must be cancelled to keep everyone safe (read our update on tree planting in light of the current English lockdown.)While we cannot gather to plant and care for trees as we usually do, The Tree Council is still bringing people together to celebrate trees by offering a free online programme of arts and culture events.
Sign up to a free online event today
Events include a very special conversation between bestselling writer duo Tracy Chevalier (Girl With a Pearl Earring) and Jonathan Drori (Around the World in 80 Trees). Other enticements include live, tree-inspired, musical offerings, a panel discussion on art and trees featuring leading practitioners and much, much more.
Sessions are free, but a kind donation would help us and the trees to thrive if you can. Take a look below and join us for one or more of these fantastic sessions. (See the link to book a place at the bottom of this post)
More events are being confirmed all the time, so check back regularly to see what else we have planned!
